         Worked in a technical support environment, assisting customers with a range of problems, including but not limited to: student and employee account issues, network access problems, telecommunications requests, and registration problems.

         Responded to inquiries and requests from clients regarding the colleges computer systems as well as personal computers, identifying problems, troubleshooting various issues, and providing solutions that assisted the clients needs.

         Complied, edited, and transcoded promotional videos for web presentations. All videos were converted into .mp4, Ogg, and WebM formats for optimum browser compatibility and placed into existing pages using HMTL5 with a Flash fallback for legacy and non-supported browsers.


         Oversaw the implementation of converting older static sites into responsive Wordpress themes for a network of three sites all serving unique content. Ran day-to-day social campaigns for all three sites across the major social platforms as well as managing Facebook ads and assembling daily analytics reports to refine focus on targeted demographics.


         Hand coded standards compliant XHTML/CSS and created custom graphics for numerous WordPress themes that I made available to the general public under the GNU and GPL licenses. Slice and diced pre-made website layouts from Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator documents into standards compliant XHTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, and other technologies to meet the clients original layout functionality needs.


         Created custom graphics in Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, and Flash for general site layout, including navigation, icons, and sprites as well as creating targeted banner advertisements and paid-ad placement campaigns.          Worked within the RedDot Content Management System to create, modify and manage extensive pages across the Duke Energy domain; including development, QA, and live production environments.

         Developed, deployed, updated, and managed sub sites specific to new Duke Energy projects and programs aimed at residential and small business customers, with a focus on usability to direct traffic to specific content sections.


         Worked side by side with the User Experience Designer, other developers, and outside vendors to implement site wide changes to improve the overall look & feel, usability, and content delivery of new and existing pages as well as full micro sites. The primary focus was bringing new web technologies for a better user experience, using HTML5, CSS3, Image sprites, newer jQuery libraries and compressing code before delivering the final product to the production environment.
